We have long been believers that pets are here ‘not just to survive but to thrive’. Pets are ‘here to party, not to pine‘ and every day is a day worth ensuring they get to live their best lives. The days post-op or during healing phases post injury should not be different to any other day; which is why being able to add in the additional pathway to healing and pain relief that is medical laser therapy is such a wonderful gift to make available to any injured or unwell pet. If there is one thing that broke me as a veterinarian, it was to hear an animal verbalising pain-that just shatters me, so nothing can make my vet heart soar more than to see an animal freed from a cage of pain. It was an absolute pleasure spending time with our dedicated veterinary colleagues at Horizon Palliative Vets. Their vet team is uncompromising in its approach to relieve pain and distress in their  veterinary patients.  Additionally, much respect to their team also for the time and effort they put into our training webinars  and into completing additional educational certification. All of that energy and focus can be clearly seen in the speed with which they have implemented laser/PBMt into their daily clinical case load.
